Jacaranda trees |

Another "alien" that has made itself at home in southern Africa is the jacaranda. You will particularly notice it from about October each year when its purple flowers start to blossom. There are so many of these beautiful trees in Pretoria/Tshwane that the city is nicknamed Jacaranda City. However Jacarandas can be seen throughout the region. |
