The fastest land animal in the world can reach the maximum speed on most highways (120 kilometres an hour). This feline shouldn’t be confused with its Big 5 look-a-like the leopard. The cheetah is more slender, has a flatter face with trademark “teardrops”. Like a cat a cheetah can only purr and not roar. The cheetah is so unique it forms its own biological genus, the acinonyx.

Just to let you know that we are back and had an awesome time! All the transfers and stays went smoothly. Unfortunately the weather in Moz was against us and couldn't do all the dolphin dives, but we will be back. We are very impressed with Dolphin Encounters and the work they do.
