Giraffes |
No, the tallest land mammal in the world isn’t one of the Big Five. Still the gracious giraffe is one of Africa’s most cherished animals. They stand over 5 meters (around 17 feet) tall and weigh about 1500 kilograms (3400 pounds). Amazingly, like us humans and our fellow mammals, the giraffe only has seven vertebrae. Their remarkable circulatory system prevents a deadly blood flow to the brain while they bend over to drink. Females are smaller and often have a hairy tuft on top of their horns. |

TESTIMONIAL
Our trip was absolutely awesome. We were treated like royalty and the kids had an absolute blast. Isolated quiet and yet so many things for the kids to do and explore. We had such a great time that the kids are harassing me when we can go back, and that is one thing I will do is go back.Andrea Carlyle
