Rhino

The name "white rhino" is somewhat misleading, as this giant grazer isn’t white. Its name derives from the Dutch word ‘wijd’ (wide), describing its mouth that distinguishes it from the smaller black or hook-lipped rhino. White rhinos, opposed to its ‘black’ counterpart, are quite a common sight in many of the Big 5 safari parks around southern Africa.
